An old man pops up from behind an armchair scanning the room.
A mouse comes out from behind a chair and starts running/ scampering across the room towards the kitchen.
It climbs up a sack while the old man tries to stay hidden.
It tentatively moves across the counter towards a box which seems to be a trap.
The mouse inspects the box and eventually goes inside while the old man watches.
The box falls and the old man celebrates.
The old man puts his hand on the box to make sure he doesn’t lose the mouse and at the same time he reaches for a newspaper, which he then uses to seal the box.
He takes the box over to the window and puts it outside.
He hears a loud cat noise, which gives him a change of heart.
He has brought the box back inside and ponders what to do next.
He goes/heads to the kitchen drawer and pulls out a fork.
He uses the fork to make air holes for the mouse to breathe.
After that, he fills a bottle cap with water and slides it in under the box.
Next, he drops a crumb through the hole in the top and waits patiently.
To his surprise, the mouse throws/chucks the crumb back out.
He then decides to lift the box up.
The mouse looks annoyed at him/ The mouse looks pissed (off) at him.
He tries to push the crumb toward the mouse but it turned away, rejecting the offer.
The man then picks the crumb up and pretends to eat it.
The mouse looks disappointed but then the man pretends to make magic and make the crumb appear again in his hand.
He then puts it back on the table for the mouse.
The mouse cautiously takes the crumb.
The man tried to pet the mouse but it runs/scampers away
The old man has fallen asleep watching tv.
The mouse comes in, climbs up the chair and grabs one of the crumbs on the old man’s clothes.
The old man pretends to be asleep.
When the mouse leaves, he opens his eye and smiles.
