Speak aloud while the video is playing and try to explain what is happening. Mention the nouns, try to use the correct verb and see where your gaps are!

We start by seeing the top of a kayak and then a little kid running past. The kid eventually falls down and then rolls to his dad, who has a barrel in one hand and picks him up with the other. The dad twists a barrel into the kayak and then quite comically does the same with his son! They’re just about to set off. The dad reaches for the paddle and in doing so, unbalances the kayak, knocking the kid’s hat out of position and upsetting him. The kid shakes his head to get the hat off completely, and then the dad paddles back to grab it. He scoops it up with the paddle and puts it back onto his son’s head. It seems now that the kayak has gotten stuck on a rock! The dad tries to shimmy forward, but the kid is throwing a tantrum. The dad eventually decides to get out and push the kayak. He successfully gets the kayak unstuck but puts too much force into it, and the kayak is thrusted forward. He then panics and runs after the kayak. He jumps on it, but his weight makes the baby catapult out! Luckily, the toddler lands safely in the water! The dad goes over to get him using the paddle. He accidentally flips him upside-down for a moment! He freaks out and quickly wedges the paddle in between the kid’s life jacket to get him out! He sets him back in the kayak and they get on their way!

Next we see that they pull up to a little beach. The dad tries to lift his son out of the kayak but struggles to get him out! He comes up with the idea of popping him out using the paddle! Now we see the kid running after a feather while his dad is unpacking the kayak. The feather eventually lands on a rock in the water, and of course the kid tries to reach for it and nearly ends up falling in! Thankfully his dad was there to catch him in time! The dad has had enough and decides to stick him in the barrel, so he won’t wander off again! The kid ain’t happy though! He starts crying, which grabs the attention of an eagle! The dad is now trying to feed his son, but he’s not having it! He smacks the spoon out of his dad’s hand! The next thing you know, the eagle comes along and snatches him straight from the barrel! The dad looks up and quickly reacts, throwing the jar of baby food at the eagle and knocking the kid out of its talons! And then sprints and catches him just before he hits the ground! We now see that the eagle is still looking for the kid! The dad is hiding them though! To stop the kid making noise, he uses the paddle. But when he takes the paddle off his kid’s head, the toddler shoots up into the air! The dad tries to paddle over to catch him, but once again, the eagle nabs him and flies off! The dad climbs up the cliff to rescue his son. He finally makes it to the top and sees his son sitting in the eagle’s nest playing with a feather! The dad goes over to the nest, hugs his son and when he turns around, the eagle is there! Once again, the kid chases after the feather while his dad fights off the eagle! It seems that the eagle has lifted the dad up into the air by the paddle. The son is just about to fall over the edge of the cliff when the dad grabs him with his feet! It seems that they landed in the water and washed up on shore! The dad is woken up by his son tickling his nose with a feather. He looks battered and bruised! And that’s it! They paddle off into the sunset!
