We start off by seeing a log floating in a river and a beaver picking it up and testing to see if it’s good quality! Now we see that there’s a whole operation going on as a group of beavers are in the process of building a dam! Some are felling trees, others are passing the wood along. There’s even a supervisor making sure everyone is doing their job! We also see one beaver is looking out into the distance at something. One of the beavers puts his piece of wood in position and then starts playing the drums! He quickly gets whistled at by the supervisor, and another beaver grabs him and gets him to help him carry a log. The supervisor now sees that the water is coming and signals to the workers to get away from the dam. Meanwhile, our little drummer beaver has found some sticks that he’s hitting together to make music! The little beaver gets wiped out by the wave and he wakes up on land in a totally different place! He starts exploring and comes across a little pipe. He plugs the pipe with his paw and then sees some frogs making some noises! We can see some tadpoles in the pond, little waterfalls, flowers and things like that. The little otter is taking it all in and seems like he is in awe! He then grabs the little pipe-like stick and brings it back to the dam. He takes the stick and it into the dam to let some water come through. Seeing that it works, he gathers up some more sticks and does the same with them! But then the supervisor beaver comes over and doesn’t look happy! He hits the sticks out of the dam and gives the workers an almighty death stare! At first, the little beaver looks gutted, and then he scampers off. His mate follows him. Now it’s nighttime and the little beaver and his buddy are trying to secretly install the sticks to the dam while everyone is sleeping! It starts to rain and get stormy. We can see that there is even lightning. The little beavers see that a wave of water is coming toward them! They two of them try to run away but the little one gets stuck! The supervisor beaver then shows up and tells the buddy to head on while he goes back for the little beaver. The supervisor beaver manages to use a stick as a lever and free the little beaver, but it looks like it’s too late! We see that the dam was successful and the little pipe-like sticks worked to reduce the pressure on the damn! The supervisor beaver folds his arms as he realises he was wrong while the little beaver marvels at his success!
