Presto

We start off by seeing a poster of a magician called Presto. There’s a white rabbit that’s locked inside a cage and is desperately reaching for a carrot that’s on the table! His belly is grumbling! Then Presto, the magician, comes in. It seems like he just finished eating. He checks his watch and freaks out/panics because he realises that he’s running late! He quickly shuts the door and locks it before pulling out/opening up a secret drawer. Inside the drawer are two hats. He tries to blow the dust off one of them, but it comes out of the other one! He then takes out a handkerchief and puts it into one of the hats and his hand comes out of the other one. Now he opens the cage and lets the rabbit out. The rabbit is still determined to get the carrot, but Presto keeps stopping him. He then tests out his hat using the rabbit and just when he’s about to feed him, there’s a knock at the door.

Presto hurries out to the stage and starts performing. He first of all makes his hat appear, shows that it’s empty inside and tries to pull the rabbit out. But the rabbit isn’t having any of it! He’s refusing to play along/ play ball if he doesn’t get his carrot! Presto is angry/ furious/pissed (off) and tries harder to grab the rabbit. But the rabbit responds by hitting Presto’s hand off the table. Presto walks towards the rabbit threateningly, so the rabbit complies and puts the hat on. Once again, Presto puts his hand into the hat, but he’s greeted this time with a mouse trap! He still refuses to meet the rabbit’s demands. Next, he drops an egg into the hat but the rabbit reacted quickly and the egg came straight back at him and smashed on his face. Presto then taunts the rabbit by showing him a carrot and turning it into a flower. The rabbit didn’t like that one bit, so he flips the air vent over/around and puts the hat up to it, sucking Presto’s head into his own hat. Presto is furious now. This time when he tries to grab the rabbit, the rabbit closes a drawer on his fingers and pulls out all of his magic tricks. Presto has had enough and runs over to the rabbit. The rabbit turns the hat around so that his own fingers would poke him in his eyes. He then tries to grab the rabbit but puts his arm into the magic hat and ends up ripping off his own trousers!

The rabbit now unhooks a ladder and it goes into the magic hat. It comes out the other end painfully between Presto’s legs! He tries putting the ladder back into the hat but again he gets punished! Presto now takes out the carrot again, places it on a table under a cover and then smashes/destroys it with part of the ladder to get back at the rabbit. After that, he tries to grab the rabbit, and the rabbit quickly turns the hat around so that Presto electrocutes himself! This makes Presto unintentionally dance. The musicians think it’s part of the act so they play music to the dance. Presto chases/ runs after the rabbit backstage and when he tries to grab the rabbit again, he pulls the chord of the curtains, which then launches him up to the ceiling. At first the rabbit is delighted, but seeing that the piano and props would land on him and kill him, he decides to help. He moves the hat so that Presto lands in it and comes out the other one, saving his life. Presto lands on top of the piano and the crowd goes wild/ goes crazy! The rabbit starts walking away but Presto removed the cover and a carrot totally intact appears. The rabbit pops out of the hat and finally gets his prize! The two of them finish the show by taking a bow!
