Speak aloud while the video is playing and try to explain what is happening. Mention the nouns, try to use the correct verb and see where your gaps are!
We see a kind of city centre or plaza with a fountain. A man walks over to the fountain, kisses a coin and throws/chucks it in the fountain. The coin slid down a spiralled metal pipe/ tube, onto a wheel and then dropped into a bucket which then flew up and put the coin into another tube, eventually landing in a pile with all the others. We see a creature, maybe a hamster or something like that who is running the operation. He looks bored stiff/ out of his mind. He then looks up at the radar on his control panel and which confirms a coin has been put in the fountain. He looks at the different options of what the wisher will receive and ends up choosing the money button. A green ball of energy starts moving up the pipe, and we see the wisher gets some cash.
Next we see a bus pull up at its stop. The doors open and a young guy gets out and sees the fountain. He takes a coin out of his pocket, flicks it up into the air and heads over to the fountain. Meanwhile we see a young lady who’s closing her flower shop for the night. She also has a coin and goes over to the fountain. Both of them throw/chuck their coin into the fountain, and we can see that the radar shows two hearts, so the little hamster pushes the love button, and a ball of pink energy flows up the pipe. The two coins are stuck though, and the pink energy can’t get through.
An alarm goes off and the hamster is startled, so much so that he falls off his chair! The two of them let out a sigh and begin to walk away. The hamster sees this through his telescope and starts pressing buttons in an attempt to fix it. It looks like the pink energy is building up. Seeing this, the hamster looks worried and goes to the emergency box and opens his tool box. The hamster looks through his tools, climbs up the ladder and pops his head up from the manhole.
The hamster sneakily/ stealthily throws his device up into the young lady’s flowerbed. Unfortunately, she immediately throws them in the bin. The hamster then hurls the device at the fella and it hits him in the head. The flower falls to the waiter though; he blows it, lifts up the lid and a pile of coins appear! The hamster tries this time with a wishbone. He flings it and it cut the heads of the flowers off, circles around the young guy and of course ends up hitting the waiter in the head and coins rain down on him!
Next, the hamster loads up his gun with a star and prepares to shoot it into the sky. The gun is jammed though, and while trying to fix it, he ends up shooting himself up into the sky. He then lands in a bin and hurts his head. He looks at his toolbox and is gutted when he realises he’s run out of tools! Just when he thought his luck ran out, the waiter came over and gave him a coin. He picked it up quickly, ran to the fountain, made a wish and threw the coin in the fountain. The coin unblocked the pipe, and the pink energy grabbed the two of them and pushed them together and they fell in love! Job done for the hamster!
